A much more stringent test than the CPSC-1610, this is the National Fire Protection Associations test for determining the rate of flame spread across a fabric. In this test, a flame is held at the edge of the test sample for 20 seconds in an ambient oxygen environment in an attempt to ignite the material; cited by the FDA as a recognized test.
